What are liquid capsules?
Liquid capsules are hard capsules filled with a liquid instead of a powder. The liquid sits inside a hard shell, which makes the product easy to swallow and easy to take on the go.
BIO PAK fills liquid capsules in our own facility in Kranj, Slovenia (EU), on fully automatic machines, for private label and white label brands.
Unlike a dropper or a bottle of liquid, a capsule delivers the same amount every time and leaves no spills. Liquid capsulation in hard shells is one of our specialties.

What is a liquid capsule?
A liquid capsule is a hard capsule, made from vegan HPMC or gelatine, that is filled with a liquid instead of a powder. It is easy to swallow, dosed precisely and free of the spills that come with droppers.
What is the difference between a liquid capsule and a softgel?
A liquid capsule is a two-piece hard capsule filled with liquid. A softgel is a one-piece soft shell. BIO PAK specialises in liquid capsulation in hard shells.
Which liquids can you fill?
That depends on the formulation. Send us your recipe and we will tell you whether and how it can be filled into a hard capsule.
Are liquid capsules vegan?
They can be. We make capsules from vegan HPMC or from gelatine, so you can choose the shell that fits your brand.
Can I combine a liquid with a powder in one capsule?
Yes. In a dual capsule the outer capsule holds a liquid and the inner capsule holds a powder.
Can I choose the colour?

How are liquid capsules packaged?
In bottles or blisters. We also make powder products in stick packs and pouches.
