What is contract capsule filling?
Contract capsule filling means we fill your formulation into capsules on industrial machines and pack them for you. You can bring your own blend, or let us develop the formulation and source the ingredients as part of our A to Z production.
Our automatic machines are built for volume: over 500 million capsules per year on 8 fully automatic machines, all in our own facility in Kranj, Slovenia (EU).

What is contract capsule filling?
Contract capsule filling means a manufacturer fills your formulation into capsules for you. At BIO PAK this is done in our own facility in Slovenia on fully automatic machines, and the capsules are packed ready for your brand.
Can you fill my own formulation?
Yes. If you already have a formulation, send it to us and we fill it. If you need more than filling, our A to Z production also covers development, ingredient sourcing and packaging.
Which capsules do you use?
Vegan HPMC or gelatine capsules, in sizes 3, 1, 0, 00 and 000, in a wide variety of colours.
What is your capacity?
Over 500 million capsules per year on 8 fully automatic machines. Tell us the volumes you have in mind and we will discuss them with you.
Can you fill liquids as well as powders?
Yes. Besides powder, we fill liquids into hard capsules. See liquid capsules. We can also combine both in a dual capsule.
How are filled capsules packaged?
In bottles or blisters. Powders can also be packed in stick packs and pouches.
Can I choose the capsule colour?
Yes, a wide variety of colours is available. You can try a few in our supplement builder.
Where is production, and which certificates do you hold?
In our own facility in Kranj, Slovenia (EU). Our certificates include FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, GMP, HACCP and EU Organic, and our facility is registered with the U.S. FDA.
