Separate incompatible ingredients
Keep a liquid and a powder apart in one dose, so a formula that would not work in a standard capsule becomes possible.
Capsule-in-capsule technology
Liquid in the outer capsule, powder in the inner capsule: two phases in one dose. BIO PAK makes dual capsules for private label and white label brands in our own facility in Slovenia, EU, so ingredients that don’t work well together can finally share one product.

A dual capsule, also called a capsule in capsule, is a hard capsule that holds a second, smaller capsule inside it. The outer capsule is filled with a liquid, the inner capsule with a powder. The two phases sit in separate compartments within a single dose.
That lets you build formulations that simply aren’t possible in a standard capsule, because ingredients that don’t work well together no longer have to share the same space.
BIO PAK makes dual capsules in our own facility in Kranj, Slovenia (EU) for private label and white label brands, from start-ups to multinational groups.

Release can be staged: the liquid outer phase is released first, the powder in the inner capsule follows.
Put a fast-release liquid in the outer capsule and a delayed or targeted-release powder in the inner capsule.
Keep sensitive ingredients such as probiotics, oils and vitamins in a compartment of their own.
Examples of where brands use the format. Your own formula is developed to your brief.
Probiotics, prebiotics and oils in separate layers, with live cultures protected in the inner capsule.
A quick-acting liquid phase on the outside and a delayed-release phase inside, in one dose.
Fast-release ingredients in the outer phase and slow-release ingredients in the inner capsule, staged over time.
Oils such as omega alongside powdered actives such as biotin and zinc, in a single capsule.
A capsule inside a capsule is visibly different from a standard capsule. For brands, that supports premium positioning, clear product differentiation and stronger brand recognition.
